Samsung’s 3D glasses work on any 3DTV
3DTV often suffered criticism from takers for its incompatibility with different makers has reason to rejoice, as Samsung has provided a solution for the same with its new 3D glasses.
The universal glasses by Samsung enable users to view on any 3DTV provided one wears the glasses upside down, this was revealed at a display of Samsung's 3DTVs in UK, with R&D chief Simon Lee using a Panasonic 3DTV to explain the compatibility to Home Cinema Choice.
Lee said, "I think that it's likely that the different manufacturers will come together, possibly as early as next year, to agree a common standard for Active Shutter glasses".
However the trade analysts believe that this trick shall be applicable only to work on sets that use Active Shutter glasses, and till date the experimental sets used were that of Samsung and Panasonic.
