Samsung has big hopes on Galaxy SAt the CTIA conference the biggest news which took the world by surprise was the Samsung's smartophone platform - Galaxy S.

The platform which comes with a graphic processing capability equips Samsung's new S5PC110 application which has a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 core with a PowerVR SGX540 GPU, as a popular magazine report says.

It comes with an AMOLED display which itself is a marked improvement over AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology, making the viewing easier in bright light. It is supposed to be 20% brighter, 80% less reflective in direct sunlight, and 20% more power efficient than AMOLED.

The 9.9 mm thick, the Galaxy S1 runs on the latest version of Android available - version 2.1 with all latest features. It also syncs-in wireless connectivity enabling to connect with devices such as PCs, TVs, and digital cameras.

Apart from this latest revelation Samsung is in the process to develop a content ecosystem which aims directly to iPhone.
