Samsung in a bid to launch its e-reader

Samsung It seems to have become a mark of novelty as every tech giant wants to possess an e-reader. The current tech company to follow this trend is the Korean Maker Samsung.

The company has joined hands with Barnes and Nobles to release its 6 inch, 600x800 pixel, 8-gray-scale electronic ink display and magnetic stylus induced e-reader. Priced at $299 it offers the access to a million e-books and e-magazines and grants access to Google Books as well. This e-reader is capable of handling ePub, Adobe PDF, text, BMP, and JPG formats. In addition to 2GB of internal storage memory it comes with microSD window for extra memory storage.

The differentiating point of this e-reader is the ability to write notes and annotations which none of them in the league offers. The president of the consumer electronics division Samsung, expressed that they can share the content online as reading can be tailored as personal or as social depending upon the will.
