Robert Downey Jr to record album
Los Angeles, Feb 3 : Actor Robert Downey Jr is reportedly planning a pop album and has been working on it.
The 48-year-old has already recorded a few songs for his album, reports contactmusic. com.
"Some of the biggest names in the music industry are helping Robert put his album together. Robert has already recorded several songs and he sounds better than a lot of the performers out there," said a source.
"The Avengers" star has been meeting music label executives, who got interested in him after a duet of him and musician Sting singing Police band's classic "Driven to tears" became a huge hit on the internet.
"Those two go way back, and you couldn't ask for a better musical mentor than Sting. It's clear Robert is talented, and he's been writing music for as long as he can remember. Who knows, maybe he'll win a Grammy before he wins an Oscar?" the source said.(IANS)
