RIL and Airtel emerges top recruiters at IIMAReliance Industries Limited, India's largest conglomerate and Bharti Airtel, the largest telecom service provider in the country have emerged as the largest recruiters at the premier Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad
(IIMA) in the second cluster of placements. The two companies made a total of nine offers each at the institute.

A spokesperson for the placement committee of the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) said, "Reliance Industries Limited and Airtel were the top recruiters in the second cluster and extended offers to nine students each. Airtel recruited students for various roles spanning multiple functions, including international postings."

Reports showed that five sectors including consumer goods and services, general management and leadership, strategy and niche consulting, financial services and business development emerged as the leading areas for recruitment for the best management institute in the country.

HUL, P&G, ITC, Nestle, Airtel and L'Oreal from the consumer goods and services segment participated in the placement process while the general management and leadership segment included firms including Mahindra, TAS, RIL and Lodha group. Feedback Infra, TSMG, Capgemini, EXL and Cheers Interactive were among the consultancy firms at the institute to get top talent in the country.

Barclays, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) among others were present from the BFSI market. During the second cluster of placement was conducted on 16th and 17th February.
