Seoul - Five people were found dead in a building in the Yongsan district of central Seoul after police cleared demonstrators from the site, the Yonhap news agency reported Tuesday.

The bodies were found inside the five-storey building, which was occupied by about 40 people protesting local demolition plans.

Police moved in early Tuesday to clear the building, leaving 12 people reportedly seriously injured. (dpa)
