New offerings are being ushered by Reliance Communications dropping the call rates even lower.

The plan called Simply Unlimited CDMA Offer, comes with two calling packs. An unlimited talktime to all local calls with a monthly recharge of Rs. 299, all calls made to local Reliance phones are free and the calls to any other network remain virtually free. STD calls to all any network will be charged at 50 paisa / min.

In case of the second pack that involves a monthly recharge of Rs. 599 allows unlimited calling across the country within Reliance network. It offers unlimited free calling to any Reliance phone be it Reliance GSM, CDMA or fixed line. It also adds virtually unlimited local or national long distance free calls to other networks.

It is released for all its bonafide retail customers so that it doesn't become commercially available. Both are based on the conditions of Fair Usage ie, 30 mins/day (900 mins/month) and applies to OffNet calls and beyond this the user has to pay 50 paisa / min.
