Washington, Mar 12: Researchers at the University of Rochester have created long platinum nanowires that may lead to the development of commercially viable fuel cells.

It is believed that the new wires could provide significant increases in both the longevity and efficiency of fuel cells, which have until now been used largely for such exotic purposes as powering spacecraft.

Lead author James C. M. Li, professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Rochester has said that nanowire enhanced fuel cells could power many types of vehicles, helping reduce the use of petroleum fuels for transportation.

Washington, Mar 12: Jay-Z has said that hip-hop has improved race relations across America, claiming that white kids that idolise him and Snoop Dogg don''t become racists.

The rapper pointed out that the musical genre and its related culture is not looked down upon anymore, as youngsters don’t feel the race divide at all.

"It has changed America immensely... Hip-hop has done more than any leader, politician, or anyone to improve race relations,” Contactmusic quoted Jay-Z as saying.

Washington, Mar 12: Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon today said that Pakistan should take credible steps to dismantle terror infrastructure there.

Discussing the progress in the probe into Mumbai attacks with US diplomats and officials here, Menon said that Pakistan needs to do more to bring the perpetrators of the Mumbai terror attacks to justice.

Washington, Mar. 12; The United States feels the next offensive from the Taliban against it would emanate from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan.

“The central nervous system for the planning (of an attack on the US soil) would emanate from FATA,” the Dawn quoted Senator Evan Bayh, an Indiana Democrat, as asking during a hearing on current and future worldwide threats to the national security of the United States.

Khloe, who previously dropped her clothes for a PETA ad last year, however, confessed she would "love it."

"We could be the new Girls Next Door, the brunette version," Fox News quoted Kourteney as telling KIIS -FM morning show.

The trio further revealed the kind of men they preferred, with Kim, who has already posed for Playboy, expressing a liking for athletes.
