Washington, Oct 7 : Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has targeted key goals for John McCain’s faltering campaign by claiming that Democrat Barack Obama is “palling around with terrorists” and doesn’t see the US like other Americans.
The Washington Post said that she may have scored a political hit each time, her attack was unsubstantiated and carried a racially tinged subtext that John McCain himself may come to regret.
Washington, Oct 7 : Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has declared that her less than successful recent TV interviews were just her attempt to keep Saturday Night Live show in business.
One of her more glaring flubs last week was her inability to name any publications she reads. This morning, she tried to turn that to her advantage at a campaign rally on Monday in Florida.
“Evidently, there’s some interest in what I’ve been reading lately,” she told a crowd in Clearwater.

The academy cited Nambu of the Enrico Fermi Institute at the University of Chicago "for the discovery of the mechanism of spontaneous broken symmetry in subatomic physics."
Kobayashi and Maskawa were cited "for the discovery of the origin of broken symmetry which predicts the existence of at least three families of quarks in nature."
Washington, Oct. 7 : John McCain, it seems, has another running mate -- General David H. Petraeus, the former commander of American forces in Iraq and now the CENTCOM chief.
Though officially, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is McCain’s running mate, but she didn''t get a mention once during McCain’s first debate with Barack Obama.
He, however, named General Petraeus seven times, and has since been invoking the former Iraq commander in speeches around the country -- in Ohio and Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida, reports the Washington Post.
According to the paper, McCain has even been carrying around a biography of the general and told Palin that Petraeus is "a great American hero."
Washington, Oct. 7: Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has said that he has no knowledge of William Ayers' terrorist activities during the violent Weather Underground movement.
"When he went (in 1995) he certainly didn't know the history," chief Obama strategist David Axelrod told CNN.
