Menopause ‘frees’ women to be good grandmas, ensures grandkids’ survival

London, Sept 21: Menopause may be a nightmare for women who experience hot flashes, but a new study has revealed that it also means– freeing women to be good grandmums.

Data from Africa reveals that menopause creates grandmums without young children and can increase the survival chances of their daughters' kids.

In the study, scientists have tried to find what advantage giving up reproducing could have.

London, Sept 21 : Ever wonder what a young William Shakespeare would have looked like? Well, according to a police artist, he was a dead ringer for boy wizard Harry Potter.

Metropolitan police artist Cathy Charley used the process of “age procession” to create an image of a young Shakespeare.

With the help of portraits of the playwright, Charley used her knowledge of how faces change over time to create a picture of the Bard while young by going back in time, reports The Sun.

London, September 20 : English disk jockey Chris Moyles is reportedly pondering whether to audition for a cameo appearance in Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino’s next movie.

The BBC Radio 1 ‘Breakfast Show’ host may have to spend 800 dollars if he chooses to audition for a role in Tarantino’s film.

Moyles asked the ‘Pulp Fiction’ director whether he could get a cameo in his next movie, when the latter was interviewed for his show this week.

London, Sep 20 : UK is emerging as the nation of gamblers for a new study has found that almost 284,000 Britons are hooked to casinos and spread betting – which is more than the number addicted to heroin.

The report said that there are particularly acute problems among punters who bet on newer and fast-growing forms of gambling such as online casinos and spread betting.
