Authorities fear outbreak of communicable diseases in flood-hit areas of Nepal

Nepal’s Constituent Assembly all set to elect its first republic PMSaptari , Sept 5 (ANI): While the people in flood ravaged parts of Nepal are already facing tough times fighting with the Kosi catastrophe, the threat of outbreak of epidemic is adding to their woes.

More than 1000 cases of diarrhoea and dysentery have been reported in the flood-hit areas of Nepal. The civic authorities apprehended that the situation might worsen, as the conditions in the camps for the victims of the recent Kosi floods are far from satisfactory.
