‘Record high’ 55 percent Americans disapprove of Obama’s performance
Washington, Oct 7 : A new poll has shown that a record high number of Americans disapprove of the way President Barack Obama is handling his job.
A Quinnipiac University poll showed that 55 percent of the respondents were dissatisfied with Obama’s performance, with just 41 percent approving.

According to the poll, 77 percent of respondents said the economy is currently in a recession, Politico reports.
Eleven percent of Americans said the economy is improving, as compared to 44 percent, who said it is getting worse.
Only 29 percent of Americans believed the economy would recover if Obama is re-elected.
The poll also showed that 64 percent were dissatisfied with Obama’s handling of the economy, while just 32 percent approved of Obama’s actions concerning the economy.
But 51 percent Americans blamed President George W. Bush for weak economy, while 32 percent held Obama responsible.
