Rajput Group Protests During 'Veer' Screening In Jaipur! The protestors disturbed the screening of Salman's much-awaited film "Veer" in several theaters in Jaipur on Saturday, claiming that the movie had misrepresented realities and upset the reactions of the Rajputs.

The activists, belonging to Rajput Kathni Sena, turned aggressive and threw stones to protest against the screening of the movie.

Mr. Ajeet Singh - President, Rajput Karni Sena, stated, "The film has some derogatory remarks against the Rajput community... yesterday we have submitted a memorandum in this regard to the collector in which we convey him that this film hurts our sentiments. We don't want to create disturbance in Jaipur but district authorities are testing our patience."

"We will file a suit in the court," he said.

Police force used mild baton charge and detained around twelve protestors.

The objection by Rajput Ranvir Sena is not the first time that the society has taken out weapons against a Bollywood flick.

In Feb 2008, the Karni Sena staged a peaceful protest against Jodhaa Akbar following realistic errors.

In Jan 2001, a group of Rajputs in Jaipur and Jodhpur violently protested outside cinema houses showing Zubeida.
