Psystar Sued For Making Apple Clones

Psystar has been selling computers loaded with Apple’s operating system since April.

Apple Inc has filled a lawsuit against Psyster for selling computers loaded with clones of Apple’s operating system. The suit has been registered under copyright and software licensing violations. Both the involved parties have made no comment on their respective legal positions.

According to a lawyer, Psyster has violated trademark and copyright laws.

Under Apple's shrink wrap license, Apple software can be installed only in Apple branded products.

EULA or the end-user licensing agreement for Mac OS X said, "You agree not to install, use or run the Apple software on any non-Apple-labeled computer, or to enable others to do so."
