Washington, April 28 : Snoop Dogg has told jurors in a California court that he didn't hit a man during a 2005 concert in Washington.

The rap star is being sued by Richard Monroe Jr, who claims that Dogg and his entourage seriously injured him when he came on stage during a concert in Seattle.

However, Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, has denied the allegations, insisting he went back to his tour bus immediately after Monroe jumped on stage and was tackled by security.

London, April 27 : Snoop Dogg has landed in a Californian court to face a civil lawsuit filed by a man who claims he was assaulted by the rapper during a concert in 2005.

Richard Monroe, Jr. alleged that the hip-hop star had struck him with a microphone after he jumped on stage of the White River Amphitheater on the outskirts of Seattle, Washington.

Monroe claimed during the opening hearing, in Santa Monica on April 24, the singer's security guards later gave him a brutal beating.

Washington, Apr 25: Rapper Snoop Dogg has been named the latest celebrity owing tax debts to the state of California.

Snoop Dogg, 36, is said to have failed to pay more than 284,000 dollars in back taxes, reports Contactmusic.

As per TMZ. com, the singer had a tax lien filed against him last month, which accused him of owing 284,053.59 dollars.

It turns out that he is not the only musician who owes taxes, as soul star Dionne Warwick was recently listed in California''s top 10 worst offenders.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has added another feather to his cap.

Snoop will become the first living rap icon to be ‘waxed’ at the famous Madame Tussauds Museum in Las Vegas.

“Fa shizzle dizzle I said yes when asked,” Snoop told media persons adding, "I'm honored! The D O double G got a double."

The twelve time Grammy nominated rapper said, “It’s real to be immortalized (in wax) in the ranks with President Barack Obama.”

Washington, April 18 : Rapper Snoop Dogg will cement his legendary status in the music industry when his wax figure is unveiled at Madame Tussauds.

The 36-year-old will go on to become the first living rapper to be honoured at the famous wax museum as a 300,000-dollar statue, sporting his trademark braided cornrows, is unwrapped in Las Vegas on April 20.

"Fa shizzle dizzle I said yes when asked. I''m honored!" People magazine quoted him as saying.

London, April 16 : Amy Winehouse and Snoop Dogg were unable to finish a pair of collaborated tracks during a recording, thanks to their frequent dope-smoking breaks, say sources.

The two were said to have teamed up in Los Angeles last year but were allegedly far from producing a "finished product" by the end of the session.
