London, Mar 04 : Hollywood actress Rosario Dawson has revealed that her mother used to lick her whenever she misbehaved as a kid.

The `Kids' actress said that her mum Isabel licked the sides of her face in a bid to punish her, which actually worked.

"My mom licked me - that was her punishment. If I was a little uppity or if I didn''t listen or if she wanted to get my attention, she''d lick the side of my face or under my armpit," the Daily Express quoted her as telling the New York Times.

Washington, Jan 5 : American actress Rosario Dawson has revealed that she fears that her role as a dying woman in her new movie `Seven Pounds' might upset her mother.

Dawson, 29, plays the part of an ill woman on the verge of death in Will Smith's new movie, and she fears that the portrayal will resemble the condition her mother is in.

The actress' mother has been suffering from chronic asthma and diabetes for years.

"My mom''s health is something that I''m concerned with all the time and that makes me worry because I have zero control in that," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
