It's inspiring to work with Salman Khan: Randeep Hooda

Randeep-HoodaMumbai, May 14 : It's an enriching experience for Randeep Hooda to work in Sajid Nadiadwala's "Kick" as he tried a lot of new stuff in the movie and got an opportunity to collaborate with superstar Salman Khan.

The cast has recently wrapped up the film's shooting in Poland.

"I have enjoyed my experience in 'Kick'. I got to do a lot more stuff which I have never done in all my films. And to be in the company of Bhai (Salman) is very inspiring," Randeep told reporters here at the DVD launch of his last release "Highway", Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Randeep is confident of the film's success.

Randeep Hooda wants to be a road movie actor after 'Highway'

Randeep HoodaNew Delhi, February 20 : Randeep Hooda has revealed that he aspires to be a road movie actor while promoting his new film 'Highway' in Delhi.

The ' Jism 2' actor said, "I think it was a very realistic experience. I think we really took the high road and kind of everybody lived their parts very much so and I think road movies from now on, I will be keen on doing more road movies because you do not get up at the same place or go shoot in the same place or eat the same food either. So I think I am going to quit making these other movies and only make road movies. I want to be a road movie actor".

Elena stepped up acting to match Randeep

Elena-KazanMumbai, Sep 4 : Newcomer Elena Kazan says her co-star Randeep Hooda's acting spirit and energy boosted her to deliver her best in the forthcoming thriller "John Day".

In the film, directed by Ahishor Solomon, Elena plays a depressed Iranian girl, who takes to alcohol, while Randeep will be seen in a cold and violent character.

"Randeep is very young, energetic and an intense actor...(his performance) forces you to step-up your own intensity to match in a scene, and I think we have created some interesting chemistry," Elena said here in an interview.

Randeep-HoodaMumbai, Aug 19 : Actor Randeep Hooda admits to being not so studious during his college days and he believes that to succeed in life one needs to follow one's passion.

"I hardly studied in college and I got through because I think most of the courses in college are courses in common sense. What you learn in college is outside the class," the 37-year-old told reporters at the St. Xavier's college where he was promoting his film "John Day".

Speedy shoot for 'Highway', wrapped up before schedule

Highway-Movie-2013Mumbai, June 6 : Imtiaz Ali shot Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda-starrer "Highway" at such a speed that he reached the finishing line eight days ahead of its planned schedule.

The film was wrapped up May 28.

"This film had the most number of locations in a film for me, and yet the shortest span of shoot. Of course, that's how it should have been for a movie called 'Highway'. This shooting has been the most intense and liberating journey," Imtiaz, who travelled a lot while making "Jab We Met" and "Rockstar", said in a statement.

Randeep wants to cash in on 'Murder' tag

Randeep-HoodMumbai, Jan 31 : Randeep Hooda hopes to strike a lottery with "Murder 3" as the previous two films of the franchise did well. But the actor admits he is not under any pressure either.

"It is my good luck that this film is titled 'Murder 3' because the first two films were very successful and I would also want to strike a lottery with this one. (But) More than that, I don't have any expectations or pressure," the 36-year-old said here Wednesday in an interview.

He asserts the pressure is only on the filmmakers.

Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda Roped In For Murder 3

The coupling of two actors Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda is already being discussed.

The hot pair, who will first be witnessed in Pooja Bhatt's upcoming movie Jism 2, may be seen opposite each other for a second time in the film, Murder 3.

As per reports, Mahesh Bhatt has roped in Randeep Hooda for his forthcoming film, Murder 3.

As a shocker, the reports also said that Bhatts will not cast Emraan Hasmi in the majority of their home productions.

And as far as the actress is concerned, Sunny Leone appears to be the favored name.

Recently, Hooda has become a part of the Bhatt camp with Jannat 2, Jism 2 and now Murder 3.

Randeep appears to have overwhelmed the Bhatts with his ability.

Hooda stopped at airport twice

Randeep HoodaMumbai, May 21 : Actor , who was to leave for Bangkok to shoot an ad for an automobile brand, was apparently forced to return from the Mumbai international airport twice and see Jimmy Shergill taking his place - all because of a passport glitch.

"My luggage was off-loaded and I was twice forbidden from boarding," a frustrated Hooda said.

"I was to go to Bangkok last week. It was very special because this was my first endorsement. I had warned the corporate house behind the ad that my passport was valid in Bangkok for only two months.
