Prince to host post-Oscar bash

Washington, Feb 12 : Pop star Prince is set to host yet another post-Oscar bash with some of the Hollywood's big names at his home.

The 50-year-old star played host to Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Sean ''Diddy'' Combs, Sean Penn and the night''s Oscar winners Marion Cotillard, Tilda Swinton and Javier Bardem in 2008, reports Contactmusic.

He's planning to organise another party after the Academy Awards this year.

Demi Moore, Madonna and entertainment mogul Guy Oseary will be hosting second annual post-Oscars party at Oseary''s Hollywood home.

Legendary singer Elton John will be raising cash for his AIDS Foundation at the Pacific Design Centre in Los Angeles.

Prince to release three albums via retailer and online

PrinceMelbourne, Jan 02 : Prince is planning to release three albums in 2009 through an exclusive deal with a major retailer.

The 80s pop sensation also promised a highly interactive website will also provide an opportunity to buy his new recordings.

Prince going door to door with teachings of Jehovah''s Witnesses

New York, Nov 17 : Pop singer Prince is spreading the teachings of Jehovah''s Witnesses, the Christian denomination, by going door-to-door in LA.

In an interview with this week''s New Yorker, the purple-loving pop star said that he started following the teachings of the religion two years ago.

And since then he''s started leaving his gated community to knock on doors and proselytise.

"Sometimes people act surprised, but mostly they''re totally cool about it," The New York Post quoted Prince as saying.

The "When Doves Cry" singer further said that that he sees his conversion as more of "a realization.
