Washington, Feb 25 : Hollywood legend Paul Newman was given a posthumous honour on Tuesday as the U. S. House of Representatives approved a resolution recognizing the actor''s life and achievements.
The move was introduced by Rep. Steve Cohen, a Democrat from Tennessee, who introduced the move honouring the Oscar winner on the House floor in Washington.
Newman lost his battle with cancer in September last year, reports Contactmusic.
Jim Jordan, a Republican from the actor''s native state of Ohio, was among the House members to pay tribute to Newman.
