Washington, Feb 20 : Nicollette Sheridan, who plays Wisteria Lane''s resident man-eater Edie Britt in Desperate Housewives, will be killed off during a dramatic finale of hit show, according to reports.

Studio bosses are making sure that the stunner's exit from the show is permanent, and so they have reportedly written her out of the programme, reports Contactmusic.

Washington, Feb 12: Nicollette Sheridan, who plays blonde-bombshell Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives, is leaving the ABC comedy, her rep as confirmed.

However, this is not the first time it has been reported that the actress will end her run on Wisteria Lane.

During the fifth season, show creator Marc Cherry revealed that Sheridan''s character would be crossing a moral boundary that "will have have devastating consequences for her and lead to a shocking conclusion to her time on Wisteria Lane," reports Us magzine.

Vienna  - Actress Nicollette Sheridan, one of the stars in the US TV series Desperate Housewives, will add sparkle to this year's Vienna Opera Ball as guest of Richard Lugner, the Austrian socialite announced Wednesday.

In order to promote his Vienna shopping centre, Lugner traditionally pays a celebrity to accompany him to Austria's most glamorous society event, which will take place on February 19 this year.

British-born Sheridan, 45, is not only set to get a taste of Vienna's ball culture, but also of Lugner's rough manners, which he put on display already when announcing his guest.

Washington, November 24 : Nicollette Sheridan, best known for her role as Edie Britt in ‘Desperate Housewives’, might have found new love in comedian David Spade.

The ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ actress, who broke her engagement with ex-fiance Michael Bolton in August this year, was reportedly seen getting cosy with the Spade at her 45th birthday celebrations.

According to reports, the couple “couldn''t resist each other for long” at the restaurant Luau in Los Angeles on November 21.
