New Delhi, Apr 14 : Renowned pop star Lionel Ritchie has revealed that he has a huge collection of leather pants, as he totally dotes on them.

Though the ‘I Call It Love’ hitmaker has a huge collection of his favourite leather pants, he can hardly wear them because he has grown very fat, reports the China Daily.

"I was a leather trousers collector for years. If I was 25 again, I''d be wearing them, but I''d probably get arrested right outside my hotel,” Lionel said.

“Anyway, I would probably only be able to get one leg into them now!" he added.

London, Mar 30 : Oscar winner Lionel Richie has advised King of Pop Michael Jackson to focus more on singing rather than dancing during his comeback tour.

The 59-year-old popstar insists that dancing will be harder on Jackson as he's 50 years old now, and has therefore urged him to concentrate more on his vocals.

Jacko is said to have been spending hours rehearsing his signature dance moves ahead of the 50-date `This Is It' tour.

New Delhi, Feb 03: Nicole Ritchie's adoptive father Lionel Ritchie has said that his daughter's life "reads like a train wreck", but he is delighted to see how she has turned her life around.

The `Ordinary Girl' hitmaker revealed that although he was extremely worried when Nicole was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana and painkiller Vicodin in
2006, he was more than content to see his daughter recover from it.

After enjoying a meal in the hotel's China Tang restaurant, she found Lionel at the main bar, and requested him to sing his famous tune for her.

Washington, November 11 : Lionel Ritchie has revealed that he likes to call his 10-month-old granddaughter, Harlow, “The Mouse” – because he thinks that she will run away like one when she would grow up.

The Grammy award-winning singer said that he kept reminding daughter Nicole that Harlow’s gradual growth was a reminder of the day when she’d leave the family home to be on her own.
