In an interview with W in the annual "A-List" February issue, Pitt said that Jolie, who was his co-star in ‘''Mr. & Mrs. Smith'', had no hand in breaking up his marriage with Jennifer Aniston.

"What people don''t understand is that we filmed [''Mr. & Mrs. Smith''] for a year. We were still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up," The New York Post quoted him as saying.

In the movie, which gained Pitt a Screen Actors Guild Award nod, he ages backwards with strange consequences.

And the actor has confessed that the film has forced him to think about his life.

"I was actually quite intrigued to see where it might be heading. I doubt time and gravity will be as kind as I was to myself," Usmagazine. com quoted him, as telling The Los Angeles Times.

"It just made me think about the ticking clock. Am I in mid-life? Am I halfway there? Do I have 10 years, five years?"
