Washington, Dec. 4 : Former American president Bill Clinton doesn''t want to take his wife''s Senate seat - but he might be open to working with her in the Obama administration.

Clinton told CNN he could be coaxed into a role if President-elect Barack Obama "asks me to do something specific - which I''m neither looking for nor closed to."

As a result of recent terror attacks, Big B aka the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has declined to participate in the ‘Clinton Global Initiative’.

Big B was to be one of the main speakers at former US President Bill Clinton's Global Initiative.

In a press release, Big B said, “I am not going to leave my country in this troubled hour to travel to a foreign land to lend cause to a foreign initiative, patronized and guided by a foreigner, for his benefit. I need to see initiative here in my country.”

Washington, Dec 3 : Former President Bill Clinton may have told President-elect Obama much more than he wanted to know about contributors to clear the way for Hillary Clinton to take over as next Secretary of State.

In a deal with Obama to clear his wife’s nomination, Bill Clinton agreed to disclose publicly the names of more than 200,000 donors to his foundation and incorporate his Global Initiative separately from his foundation.

“The Clinton brand is a good one. Her husband’s administration is remembered fondly, maybe even more fondly in retrospect, after eight years of Bush,” said Dana Allin, an expert on trans-Atlantic affairs at the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies.
