Orange and T-Mobile alliance to become UK’s biggest Telco
A joint alliance that saw Orange and T-Mobile unite to form a new company will be known as Everything Everywhere.
This is strategic move taken in direction to provide the best of the services to all people but keeping their original names intact, because they offer separate advantages of their own.
The value proposition that led Chief Executive Tom Alexander remark that Orange came with a "premium element", while on the other hand T-Mobile brand offers a strong budget and value focused appeal.
It is assumed that 'Everything Everywhere' will see 30 million customers come together for both operators, with a joint coverage of a third of the market share in the mobile and broadband world in UK market. The brand shall see an opening of 700 stores across the country.
It is believed that this move will bring about a massive job cut, especially in the "back-office functions", which will amass close to some £3.5 billion of Jobs in "synergy savings", says the report.
