OPEC crude price jumps over 127 dollars
Vienna - The price for crude oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) jumped by more than 3 dollars to a record-breaking
127.59 dollars per barrel, OPEC said on Friday.
One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude stood at 127.59 dollars on Thursday up 3.14 dollars from 124.46 dollars the previous day.
OPEC calculates an average basket price based on 13 important brands produced by cartel members. (dpa)
