New Delhi, Sep 19 : Ahmed Bin Yusuf Al Harthy, Under-Secretary of Foreign Ministry Oman, met External Affairs Minister SM Krishna here today.

Yusuf Al Harthy was accompanied by a delegation of Oman-India Strategic Consultation Team.

During the meeting, strategic and economic relations between the Sultanate and India were discussed.

The Sultanate of Oman is a strategic partner of India among the Gulf countries. Moreover, Oman also grants a high priority to its ties with India. The two countries have been linked by geography, history and culture.
