Not ready for a rally
He was supposed to give a speech. But he was so "taken aback" that he took some time to rub his eyes to believe what he was seeing. And why not? Prakash Jha had hired 15,000 people for shooting scenes that show Arjun Rampal holding a political rally in a movie titled Rajneeti.
Arjun plays a hardened politician in the film.
He said, "I had never seen such a large gathering for a film's shoot in my entire film career. Prakash must have got at least 15,000 people to shoot a political rally. I'm playing a leader in the film and we are shooting in Bhopal."
The actor admits that he was a little nervous when he was told to give the shot but quickly gathered himself as the camera started rolling.
Arjun added, "I was quite surprised to see so many people as I didn't quite expect it, but the shooting has been going great. I have never really played a leader who addresses so many people. I thought I would pull it off and I think I'm quite ready to become a politician now...just kidding!"
