Mumbai, Sep 8 : After the nation's official auditor accused it of violating production sharing contracts Thursday, the Reliance Industries (RIL) scrip fell 2.12 percent in intra-day trade at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The scrip fell to the intra-day low of Rs. 814 around noon, down 2.12 percent from its previous close at Rs. 831.70.

It later recovered a bit and was ruling 0.66 percent down at Rs. 826.20.

New Delhi, Sep. 8 : Union Home Secretary Raj Kumar Singh on Thursday confirmed that twelve people had died so far in Wednesday''s blast outside the Delhi High Court, and promised that the injured would be given the best possible medical assistance.

The scene outside the Delhi High Court was eerily quiet as police personnel and officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) examined the blast site.

London, Sept 8 : Researchers at Mount Sinai School of Medicine have identified a new drug target to treat and prevent the progression of heart failure.

The team evaluated failing human and pig hearts and discovered that SUMO1, a so-called "chaperone" protein that regulates the activity of key transporter genes, was decreased in failing hearts.

When the researchers injected SUMO1 into these hearts via gene therapy, cardiac function was significantly improved.

They said average Twitter users might receive up to 17 `dangerous' Tweets per day.
