Baghdad - An Iraqi soldier was killed and two were wounded during armed clashes with al-Qaeda operatives late Friday, the Multi- National Force (MNF) said Saturday.

Voices of Iraq (VOI) news agency quoted an MNF statement as saying Iraqi and US forces raided the home of an al-Qaeda member in Salah al-Din province, north of Baghdad. Another gunman was arrested. (dpa)
