Vienna  - German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived in Vienna Monday to meet Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer and to watch both countries' group B game in the Euro 2008 championships.

Five German cabinet ministers are also in Austria today for some bilateral meetings with their Austrian counterparts.

The two heads of government will discuss the Irish rejection of the Lisbon Treaty, climate and energy issues and high commodity prices, an Austrian government source said. (dpa)
