Josef Fritzl deluged with ‘love letters’ from lonely women

London, June 4 : Josef Fritzl deluged with ‘love letters’ from lonely womenAustrian incest fiend Josef Fritzl has been sent 200 letters from lonely women around the world offering him love and affection.

Austria’s Sankt Poelten prison bosses, where Fritzl has been imprisoned, said that sackloads of post arrive for the brute every day – and not all is hate mail.

According to the “fan mail”, Fritzl, 73, is misunderstood and “good at heart”.

The electrical engineer by profession, Fritzl is accused of holding daughter Elisabeth prisoner for 24 years while she bore him seven children.

The warped women also believe that Fritzl fathered children through Elisabeth because he wanted to teach her about the “joys of motherhood”.

Manchester Metropolitan University psychologist Dr Mike Berry said it was not unusual for lifers to attract penpals.

“Writers often feel they can help or change the prisoners, usually without much success. But there is a risk of the writer getting conned and emotionally hurt by the prisoner,” The Daily Star quoted Dr Berry, as saying. (ANI)
