Bobby Jindal says Muslim leaders must speak out against'bloodthirsty' acts of terror in name of Islam
Washington, Jan 17: Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is planning to call on Muslim leaders to speak out against acts of terrorism carried out in the name of Islam during his speech in London next week.
According to the Washington Times, Jindal, a possible presidential contender in 2016, is set to address the Henry Jackson Society on Monday in London.
Jindal says in prepared remarks released by his office ahead of his Monday speech in London : "A so-called religion that allows for and endorses killing those who oppose it is not a religion at all; it is a terrorist movement."
He says that he continues to believe and hope that most Muslims oppose these bloodthirsty acts of terror.
Jindal says in the prepared speech that Islam has a problem. He urges Muslim leaders to make clear to the Muslim community that anyone who commits acts of terror in the name of Islam is in fact not practicing Islam at all, the report added. (ANI)
