Chelsea Handler slams 'sexist' Instagram for removing 'topless' pic
Washington, Nov 1 : Comedian Chelsea Handler has called Instagram sexist for removing her topless snapshot.
In the snap, the 39-year-old TV host is seen posing topless atop a horse like Russian President Vladimir Putin, with the caption "Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to prove I have a better body than Putin," CNN reported.
Handler, who says that Instagram pulled the photo down more than once because it violated the company's standards, wrote that anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better.
Handler posted a notice from Instagram that says the photo doesn't follow the app's community guidelines, arguing that the company's implementation of its policy is sexist and wrote that "if a man posts a photo of his nipples, it's ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?"
Handler, who apparently decided that Instagram is too restrictive for her purposes, posted a photo of her pups along with a message "You can now find my dogs and my breasts on Twitter only where my followers have the right to choose what they say. Bye bye instablock." (ANI)
