Los Angeles, Nov 23 : British singer Robbie Williams says he didn't need a hair transplant, but was influenced by the cutlure of the city.

"I've lived in L. A. for a long time and they say, `If you sit in a barber's shop for long enough you will get a hair cut.' Well, if you live in Los Angeles for long enough you're going to get some surgery. I've had a thatch done and I didn't even need it. That's the weirdest thing," mirror. co. uk quoted Williams as saying.

It is believed "thatch" may refer to the procedure to fill out follicles on the scalp.(IANS)
