Los Angeles County gasoline price drops 39 times in 40 daysThe average price of gasoline has slipped 28.5 cents per gallon over the past 40 days in Los Angeles County, stats compiled by the AAA and Oil Price Information Service revealed.

On Sunday, April 14, the average price of self-serve regular gasoline slipped nine-tenths of a cent to $4.015. It was the 39th time in 40 days when the average price of the fuel decline. It was the price since February 3.

Earlier on Saturday, the average price of the fuel dropped 1 cent per gallon.

Yesterday's average price was 4.9 cents lower than where it was around one week back, and around 20.7 cents and 23.7 cents lower than one month ago and one year ago, respectively.

In the Orange County, the average price of the fuel dropped 33 cents in the past 46 days. On Saturday, it slipped 1.5 cents. It was 42nd time when the average price in the past 46 days.

The average price in the Orange County slipped nearly on Sunday to $3.985. It was the lowest price in the county since February 2. From the month ago and year ago, it was down 21.9 cents and 23.9 cents, respectively.
