Sun TV To Launch 'FM Station' In Nasik & Vadodara Under ‘SFM’
India’s second largest TV network Sun TV Network is all set to launch its FM Radio Stations at Nasik and Vadodara, under the brand name ‘SFM’ from April 17, 2008.
The company will launch the new FM stations through its subsidiary ‘South Asia FM Ltd’. The new launchings will boost up the total number of Sun’s radio stations to 32 across the country.
Heard at 93.5 MHz frequency in Nasik and Vadodara, the new FM Radio Stations will cater to the audience of all age groups.
SFM has already launched FM stations in different cities, which includes Jabalpur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Tirupati, Madurai, Jaipur, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Tuticorin, Lucknow, Kannur, Allahabad, Kozhikode (Calicut), Bhopal, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Vijayawada, Varanasi, Tiruchy, Rajahmundry, Kanpur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Guwahati, Mangalore, Mysore and Jamshedpur.
The company will shortly roll out 13 more stations, as it holds license for 45 FM Radio Stations across India. With the opening of more radio stations, Sun TV will become one of the biggest radio broadcasters in India.

The stock of the company, on Wednesday (April 16), marked its closure at Rs 297.05, down 0.4% on the Bombay Stock exchange (BSE).
