Hero Honda, the country's largest two-wheeler maker has recently reported that it has achieved a sales growth of close to 17% in the month of July.

It is to be mentioned here that the company sold close to 4,27,686 units in July 2010 as it has recorded more than four lakh dispatch sales in a single month for the third consecutive time.

Hero Honda Motors Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said that the 17% growth achieved by the company is the right step in stepping into the next quarter of the fiscal.

Moreover, Dua also pointed out the fact that with the company is expecting to maintain the growth even in the upcoming festive season. It may be noted here that the company is planning a series of new launches in the coming months, leading up to the festive season.

Moreover, Dua also said that the four lakh-plus sales for the third consecutive month has been possible because of growth coming in from all segments -- entry, deluxe as well as premium and also in their Scooter sales.
