Atul Auto Ltd., one of India's leading 3-wheeler maker in the country has recently posted a 2000% growth in the net profit of the company. In fact, the company has reported that it has clocked the figure of Rs 210 lakhs after tax for the 1st quarter of the fiscal ending June 2010.

Keeping in mind that the last year's quarter net profit was Rs 10 lakhs, one can be very much sure that the company is well on track to be one of the most recalled names in the three-wheeler industry.

While the company has been a export focused entity, since the point of time that Atul Auto decided to concentrate on Indian market, the company is making a lot of noise.

Vijay Kedia, Director, Atul Auto Ltd said that the company sees a lot of potential in the SME sector and large industries.

Moreover, Kedia also mentioned the fact that the company is taking its annual production capacity to 48,000 units and will be launching few new models in the Indian market.

It is to be mentioned here that the company manufactures the 3 -wheelers under the brand names, SHAKTI & GEM and there are close to 2 lakh units of such products in the Indian market.
