Sky creating 550 jobs in UK

Sky-LogoSatellite broadcaster Sky has announced its plans for signing up of more than 550 employees shortly for its various openings. The company is going to set up a new customer service centre in June this year at Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Before this, Sky has its customer center in Livingston, Dunfermline, Uddingston, Leeds, Osterley and Shepton Mallet. The company has already employed more than 16,000 people across UK and Ireland for its various operations. The recruitment process for the new jobs in Stockport will be started in March.

The company officials have said that this inclusion was needed to meet the augmented demand for TV, broadband and home phone services in the city. However, Sky officials as well as its employees are excited about positive future, after the news.

Sky's services have reached more than 9.7 million homes across the UK and Ireland. Further on a positive note, the group has been the fastest traveler, past 2 years in the broadband and Telephony Company in UK. It has become the best service provider in terms of customer satisfaction and post sales service.
