Washington, May 12 : American actress Jamie Lynn Spears’ boyfriend Casey Aldridge has recovered fully to play best man at his cousin’s wedding, just two weeks after he suffered brain trauma in a Louisiana car crash.

Aldridge, 20, had to be airlifted to a hospital last month, after he and two of his friends were thrown from his truck after it swerved into a ditch.

The father of Spears’ 10-month-old daughter Maddie was treated for mild brain trauma and a fractured skull at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and was discharged at the beginning of May.

Though still groggy from the accident, he still fulfilled his duties as best man at his cousin’s weekend nuptials, which took place at Luckett Lodge in Brandon, Mississippi.

“He had the weakness of having been in bed and still trying to get his feet under him, but he made it,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling People magazine.

“It was outside, it was hot, but he did OK. It''s just going to take him a few weeks to get better,” the source added. (ANI)
