Tracey Ullman ''to be honoured with Lifetime Bafta award''
London, Apr 9 : The British Academy of Film and Television Arts/Los Angeles will honour Tracey Ullman with a lifetime achievement prize.
The British comedienne will be given first-ever BAFTA/LA Charlie Chaplin Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy, said trade paper Variety.
The award will be presented May 8 at the British Comedy Festival''s awards ceremony at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Ullman began her career on British TV, with shows like Three Of A Kind, reports The BBC.
She later created The Tracey Ullman Show for the US Fox network, winning several Emmy and Golden Globe awards.
The show famously spawned The Simpsons, which started out as short sketches either side of the commercial break. (ANI)
