New York, Apr 5 : Beatles biographer Geoffrey Giuliano is miffed with John Lennon's half sister because she used material from a 1986 book they co-wrote without giving him credit or money.

Giuliano is upset with Lennon''s half-sister, Julia Baird as she used vast material from their book "John Lennon, My Brother" - which he co-wrote with her - for another memoir without giving him any credit.

"There''s only one reason she did it, and that''s to screw me out of my share," The New York Post quoted Giuliano as saying.

"The vast majority of the research in her 2007 book, ''Imagine This: Growing Up With My Brother John Lennon,'' is mine," he added.

And what is more insulting to Giuliano is that Braid's book is now being made into a movie about Lennon''s hardscrabble childhood titled "Nowhere Boy".

He is now planning to take a legal action against Baird.

"My lawyers are working on a lawsuit and will file it in London," said Giuliano, 55.

"We are asking that all copies of the book be recalled and destroyed and production on the movie be stopped," he added. (ANI)
