Big B’s first devotional album
Everybody knows that Big B can sing very well and this makes him a singer also, his recent singing talent was there in Bhoothnath which was released last May and that song was his 25th song in Bollywood. Adding to it he’s now gone into devotional singing for an album of the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ being composed by Aadesh Shrivastava who calls himself the Big B’s ‘Hanuman’. The new Chalisa will have a whole lot of male playback singers contributing. But the Big B leads the pack.
Big B gives us details about the album in his blog
“Aadesh Srivastava and myself as I had said earlier have put to music and sung the Hanuman Chalisa. To promote this great devotional work we needed to shoot a visual and that’s where I was in the studio. Govind Nihalani was shooting the video on a simple but elegant set at Film City. The atmosphere was calm and organized and we were done by 3 pm.”
Further he wrote that,”There was also a creative meet on the promotion and release of the audio of the Hanuman Chalisa composed by Aadesh Srivastava and sung by all the prominent singers of the industry, with my participation in it as well. Not among the prominent singer category, but as a voluntary part of this most impressive rendition. It is a unique product, again out of the stable of Aadesh, with whom I have been closely associated in films like ‘Baghbaan’ and ‘K3G’ and ‘Baabul’. Govind Nihalani, who directed me in ‘Dev’, is doing the video shoot and we shall soon be seeing it on screen and in audio stores after its formal release. It is yet another product from AB Corp.”
He also writes that he is quite interested in such divine songs,” It has always been a dream of mine to be associated with some kind of work that has elements of divinity in it. This shall be a start in small manner. Yes the donations at temples have been there and they have been doing great service to humanity. But this is a personal involvement and therefore perhaps closer to the Almighty.”
After doing rap song with Adnan Sami now its time for having devotional to sing with Aadesh Srivastava which will come in the market soon. -Sampurn Media
