Team event cancelled due to bad weather, scrapped from worlds
Val d'Isere, France - Heavy snowfall and strong winds on Wednesday forced the cancellation of the team event at the alpine skiing world championships.
The ruling body FIS has in fact scrapped the event from the championship programme because the conditions are not expected to improve over the next days.
In addition, priority is given to the slalom and giant slalom races for men and women which complete the Val d'Isere championships from Thursday until Sunday. (dpa)
