Drogba fears for his future at Chelsea

Chelsea Football ClubLondon, Jan 17 : Didier Drogba fears that he is being hounded out of Chelsea after being axed from the squad to play Stoke today.

Phil Scolari left the Ivory Coast star, 30, at home for Wednesday’s FA Cup trip to Southend.

And Drogba will sit in the stands today while Scolari has four teenagers on the bench, The Sun reported.

A pal of the striker said: “Didier doesn’t know what he’s done wrong. He has trained hard and hoped to return to the squad. But to be left out again, especially when there are young lads on the bench, makes it look more sinister.”

Scolari has also put his entire squad up for sale and wants to exchange four of them for Manchester City’s striker Robinho.

“I can reveal Scolari is trying to get the Brazilian to Chelsea after missing out in August. And the struggling Blues boss even invited clubs to make an offer for any of his players,” The Sun quoted sources, as saying.

“I know many managers and assistants are calling the players saying this or that. Now is the time for all of my players — call and buy,” Scolari said.

He is offering 15million pounds plus four players, Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda, Salomon Kalou and a centre-back, for Robinho. (ANI)
