MQM, PPP close to resolving their differences, says Pak Minister

Pakistan’s Information Minister Sherry RehmanKarachi, Apr. 27: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are close to resolving their differences, Pakistan’s Information Minister Sherry Rehman has said.

She said the PPP is willing to include the MQM in the ruling coalition as part of its reconciliatory policy.

She said there were no differences on the issue of judges’ restoration and that the nation would hear “good news” on the issue soon.

Sources in the PPP said that differences with the MQM existed over sharing power in the government. They said that at least three ministries could go to the MQM. (ANI)
