Motorola to come up with first Android based phone in India

Motorola-Android-21Motorola has announced to come up with the first ever Android based phone in India. The product will be powered by Android 2.1 as per the company.

The phone is enriched with some of the extra ordinary applications, high resolution and power zoom facility. It will be available at a best buying price of Rs 32,990. It can be used as a digital camera as it is loaded with 5 mega pixel camera and memory of 8 GB.

Google search, Google map, Gmail and You Tube is also accessible in it. Various Google widgets, Android store Android Market; Microsoft Office and Facebook contacts can also be used by users.

According to Faisal Siddiqui, country head of Motorola India, Android 2.1 device "Milestone" will have a huge advantage over its contemporary smartphones. Users can access internet in a full screen mode with facilities to use multiple applications simultaneously.

Voice based street level navigable maps of 401 cities in India are preloaded with Milestone. As the maps are loaded users can enjoy service works of independent mobile network without inserting a SIM.
