MGM Resorts unveils vision for upcoming Empire City Casino in New York
The transformation of Yonkers, New York-based Empire City Casino is underway, courtesy of MGM Resorts International, which intends to reshape the property into the opulent and all-inclusive destination for gambling and hospitality enthusiasts. The revamped MGM Empire City Casino Resort, pending the acquisition of a commercial casino license, promises to redefine unmatched gaming and luxury entertainment experience.
As per plans revealed by the operator, MGM Empire City will undergo a remarkable facelift, starting with a comprehensive redesign. The initial phase of the project involves expansive enhancements, including an engorged casino floor and an entertainment venue that will be capable of hosting up to 5,000 visitors. The introduction of a state-of-the-art BetMGM sportsbook, and curated culinary experiences by renowned chefs at various dining outlets, complemented by cocktail bars, lounges, meeting spaces, will make visits to the venue unforgettable.
Transitioning from its prior status as a video lottery terminal racino, MGM Empire City will raise its offerings to incorporate live-dealer table games, modern slot machines, and a swanky high-limit gaming area. In addition, there will be a new parking garage accessible to all guests.
The focal point of the revamped venue will provide an exceptional gaming experience, by hosting top-tier A-list performers and events. Pending the attainment of the commercial license, the BetMGM Sportsbook & Lounge will be a unique feature, offering guests an immersive gaming experience with a 112-foot wrap-around LED screen, VIP areas, a number of betting kiosks, and a diverse range of food and beverage options.
