Maruti Suzuki launches Ritz dieselIndia's largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced the launch of a refreshed Ritz diesel model with a price tag of Rs 5.31 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi.

The company claims that the new diesel model offers 10% higher fuel efficiency with a economy of 23.2 kilometers per litre. The model comes with a total of 52 changes including new front design, new dual tone interiors, multi-information display on instrument panel, and new audio system with USB, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors, body side moulding and many others.

The company has also launched new ZDi variant at Rs 6.23 lakh in the Ritz Diesel and top model will come with Alloy Wheels, Dual Front Air Bags and steering audio controls. The car will now come in new colours- mystique red, granite grey & breeze blue

Manohar Bhat, vice president for marketing at Maruti Suzuki India said, "Numerous changes being introduced now will make the Ritz brand more vibrant. Most important, the new Ritz is more fuel-efficient with enhanced driving comfort. This makes it even more attractive for the customer and also gives us confidence to generate additional sales."

The company has already sold a total of 2,00,000 units of Ritz models in the country in a period of just three years.
