Maruti’s Manesar Plant Stops Operation for 2 Hours

Maruti’s Manesar Plant Stops Operation for 2 HoursIndian car making company Maruti is facing turbulence yet again. First, there was a 13-day strike that the firm had to face when the employees had held it up against the authorities for the reason that there was little conflict seen between the company supervisor and the workers.

This is why the firm had to face a loss of as much as 50 units. This had resulted in a notice sent to 4 workers, which sparked the protest. The authorities, however, are of the view that they did not sent any such notice to anyone. The workers, on the other hand, are of the view that this is a tact being followed by the firm in order to hush the voices of the employees.

A company official said, “One of the supervisors was assaulted by workers yesterday and when disciplinary action was being taken today by way of suspension, they have struck work at the plant. The number of workers on strike is much less this time”.

The workers are of the view that they are being targeted by the firm for the reason of forming a new union which the company did not approve of.
